Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Messiah
The Christ who died for me and you
Jesus is our savior
The one who cleanses our souls anew

Jesus is the anointed one
The one who performed miracles throughout his life
He didn't perform them for fun
He knew his people were going through strife

Jesus is the one who raises the dead
If he liked, he would have changed stones into bread
He is the one who changed water into wine
He is the reason behind the sun that shines

There are so many miracles Jesus performed
Like healing the two blind men
Like healing a leper
Feeding 5000 men and their families
Like walking on water
And healing the demonic girl

Jesus really is a good guy
Don't let the opportunity of knowing him pass you by
Once you get to know him you'll realise that He's the everlasting father
To every question, Jesus has the answer

He is the Lord, the one who'll never forsake us
He is the light, that turns darkness to brightness
He is the holy one, in which through him we are saved
He is the reason today that I'm no longer a slave

To Simon he asked, "Who do you say I am?"
Simon replied, "You're the Christ, the son of the living God"
So I ask you today
Who is Jesus to you?
Not many can describe him
Are you among that few?
